Commissioning & Start-Up

Shumate Mechanical is committed to proper start-up and commissioning of HVAC equipment systems as one of the final steps in our Quality Assurance Program. Because we understand the benefit of properly commissioned equipment, our technicians take extra steps to ensure that equipment and HVAC systems are turned over to customers per manufacturers' guidelines and design specifications. Equipment start-up follows a precise documented procedure that promotes proper operation, warranty guarantee and equipment longevity.

Our factory trained technicians are fluent on many types of HVAC equipment and such as Trane, Lennox, Aaon and are authorized to perform "factory-certified start-ups". Shumate strives to provide customers with qualified, experienced and trained professionals to perform the critical "last step" of HVAC construction.

Controls Commissioning

In order to further ensure proper HVAC system operation through commissioning, Shumate Mechanical works with the Controls technicians or the Automation Contractor to validate the designed sequence of operation. Understanding that a proper control system is an important part of a successful operating construction project, we are committed to commission controls in addition to equipment.
